Melissa Griffin, LIMHP, LADC

Melissa received a Masters in Community Counseling from University of Nebraska-Kearney.  She has been providing therapy services for over 10 years.  She is the owner/clinical director of Mental & Behavioral Health.  She is licensed as an Independent Mental Health Practitioner, Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and an Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Melissa has experience with co-occurring disorders, complex trauma, depression, and severe and persistent mental health issues.  She is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy.  She is also a Nebraska Registered Provider with the Criminal Justice System.  

Kevin Florian – Intern 

Kevin Florian is an intern at Mental and Behavioral Health. He is a graduate student at Bellevue University getting a Master’s in Clinical Counseling. He is a bilingual provider. He is passionate about helping individuals that experience anxiety, depression, and trauma. He also enjoys working with individuals from the LGBTQIA2S+ Community. Since he is bilingual, he will be offering services in English and Spanish.  He will also be offering services for free while he is an intern.


Kelli Parsons, LIMHP, LCSW

Kelli received a Masters in Social Work at University of Kansas.  She has been providing therapy services for over 10 years.  She is licensed as an Independent Mental Health Practitioner, Licensed Mental Health Practitioner and Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Kelli has experience providing mental health treatment in inpatient and outpatient settings.  She is providing outpatient counseling to pre-adolescents, adolescents, adults and families. Kelli has experience addressing a variety of concerns and has done extensive work with individuals that have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, self-harm and suicidal ideation.  Kelli also provides clinical supervision. 

Simon Brummond, PLMHP

Simon received his Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of South Dakota.   He completed his internship with Mental & Behavioral Health and is now a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner. Simon has experience working with all ages and with clients on issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, ADHD as well as other matters that can affect a healthy mental well being. Simon also enjoys working with people in the LGBTQ community, those who struggle with internal family conflict, and marriage or relationship counseling. Simon is trained in Gottman Method for couples therapy. Simon is also open for telehealth appointments. 


Julianne Laudenklos, PLMHP

Julianne received a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wayne State College.  She completed her internship with Mental & Behavioral Health and is now licensed as a Provisionally Licensed Mental Health Practitioner.  Prior to working at Mental & Behavioral Health, Julianne worked as a Job Coach/Life Skills Tech at ESU7, as well as a Family Support Worker and Respite Service Provider for adults and children with developmental disabilities.  She works with a wide range of ages.  Julianne is trained in PCIT and accepting new clients.

Crystal Matthews, LMHP, LADC

Crystal  received a Masters in Community Counseling from Wayne State College. She has been providing counseling services for over 10 years. She is licensed as a Mental Health Practitioner and Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of Nebraska. Crystal has experience working with individuals who have experienced domestic violence, anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment issues, and substance abuse issues. She is also a Nebraska Registered Provider with the Criminal Justice System.
